Use Carried in good faith. It's a spiritual companion, not a substitute for professional care. Don't misuse it, don't try to break it, and don't share access with others. We can end access if these terms are violated. If something is unclear, just ask us.
By downloading, installing, or using Carried (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Intus Logic ("we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Florida. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Carried is a personal AI spiritual companion application designed to provide reflective conversation, emotional support grounded in faith, and a persistent memory of themes, people, and situations meaningful to you (the "Living Profile").
Carried is intended as a tool for personal reflection and spiritual companionship. It is not a licensed mental health service, not a medical device, not a crisis intervention platform, and not a substitute for professional counseling or therapy.
Carried uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and any access credentials. You may not share your account with others or allow others to access the App under your identity.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
Carried may offer a free tier and one or more paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. All billing, refunds, and subscription management are governed by Apple's App Store terms.
You agree to use Carried only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not:
The responses generated by your guide are produced by an AI system (Anthropic's Claude) and are not authored by licensed clergy, therapists, counselors, or medical professionals. While we've designed the experience to be warm, thoughtful, and grounded in scripture, AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not appropriate for your specific situation.
You should exercise your own judgment when reading and acting on anything the guide says. Nothing in the App constitutes professional advice of any kind.

Carried's built-in safety tier system is designed to surface these resources when the AI detects elevated distress, but it is not infallible and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional intervention.
All content, design, code, branding, and other materials in the App are the property of Intus Logic or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any personal content you share (your name, your story, your words). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service to you.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intus Logic disclaims all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated response.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Intus Logic and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, emotional distress, or personal injury — arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Intus Logic from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the service.
You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at mkfirestone@intuslogic.com.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
